How to connect Grok to Fortnox
- Try it in the Fortnox App Market. Find More AI - ChatGPT & Claude MCP, choose Buy and then Activate. This is done by a system administrator of your Fortnox.
- Add the connector in Grok. On grok.com: Connectors → New Connector → Custom. Enter a name and paste the address below as the MCP server URL.
- Sign in to Fortnox. Choose the company and approve in the window that opens. Then ask Grok to use the connector: start with "Use More:", or pick it with @.

- A Grok account. The free plan is enough to add the connector, but when demand is high Grok can be slow or stop in the middle of a long task. A paid plan is faster.
- A Fortnox account, and the person who buys and first connects the company must be a system administrator.
- The connector is added on grok.com in the browser. In Grok Bot, xAI’s app for desktop and iPhone, you instead ask Grok Bot in the chat to add the server.
Is it safe to connect Grok to Fortnox?
Grok reads from Fortnox when you ask it to. A change is sent to Fortnox only once you approve that exact content — that check lives with us, not in Grok, whatever Grok’s settings.

ChatGPT, Claude or Grok — which should I choose?
All three work with Fortnox in the same way: the same questions, the same analyses and the same approvals, and the same licence covers them all. The differences lie in the apps:

Is Grok’s free plan enough?
To add the connector, yes. When demand is high, Grok on the free plan can be slow or stop in the middle of a long task. On a paid plan Grok answered in 18 seconds across two companies in our test.
Why does Grok search the web instead?
Grok sometimes chooses a web search when the question does not mention the connector. Start with "Use More:", or type @ and pick the connector, and Grok uses it.
Can Grok change my books on its own?
No. Grok can propose a change, but it is shown to you in plain text and sent to Fortnox only once you approve that exact content.
