What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for how an AI app reads data from and acts in other systems. An MCP server is the bridge between the AI and the system — here between your AI app and your Fortnox.
Without one, the AI guesses or you paste figures in yourself. With it, the assistant reads straight from Fortnox when you ask, and the answer is calculated from your books at that moment.

Is this Fortnox’s own MCP server?
No. More AI - ChatGPT & Claude MCP is an independent service from a Fortnox integration partner, bought in the Fortnox App Market. It is not a product of Fortnox, OpenAI, Anthropic or Microsoft.
Can the AI change my books on its own?
No. The assistant can propose a change, but it is shown to you in plain text and only sent to Fortnox once you have approved that exact content.
Do you store my books?
No. No copy of your accounting is stored. Reads are held in working memory for at most three minutes to speed up follow-up questions, then discarded.
What does it cost?
